A second generation programmer, with experience in everything from bare-metal embedded code to million-line game engines to web development. During my five years at GarageGames (2003-2008), I mostly worked on C++ game technology (TGE, TGB, TGEA, TNL) and a few games (Zap, Marble Blast Ultra). The forums took up a lot of my time as well, in fact, I still rank as one of the most prolific posters with almost ten thousand posts. More recently, I have been developing in Flash/Flex and ActionScript 3, which is my focus at PushButton Labs.
I like to write and use my camera, and to my surprise, I have had both my writing and photography published. I also enjoy giving talks on technical subjects. I used to be a nationally ranked sabre fencer; nowadays I am re-learning how to play the piano. My cat, Tiffany, is basically unimpressed by all of this, and uses me strictly as a source of food and warmth.
